Total War: Warhammer 3’s long-awaited roadmap has now been unveiled, receiving mixed reactions from the game’s community. Regardless if you’re happy about the developer’s transparency or disappointed that Immortal Empires will take longer before it arrives, patch 1.2’s release date is the next stop for the game’s post-launch plans, bringing with it a number of needed fixes.
Currently, Total War: Warhammer 3 patch 1.2 include several fixes for issues with its real-time battles. The rate at which AI factions build towers will be reduced to make settlement battles less frustrating, while flying units should no longer get stuck when attempting to attack ground targets.
A fix is also on the way for daemon factions declaring war on vassals of Slaanesh, while unit responsiveness will receive the first tweaks in what the developer describes as “a long-term project.”
Total War: Warhammer III’s patch 1.2 release date also brings with it improvements to auto-resolve, duels between single entity units, alongside the first technology tree reworks.
While the list of features that actually make it into the patch can change, Creative Assembly currently expects it to drop at some point during the week of May 16, 2022.

Players can also expect the leaderboards to be reset, while each of the game’s core races will receive a serving of Regiments of Renown.
Previously, these units were added alongside DLCs and, although that won’t change, some will make their way into the game as its first couple of patches go live.
