Total War: Warhammer 3’s patch 2.1 is now live, introducing a series of changes and fixes that build on its 2.0 update, which introduced the massive Immortal Empires campaign. Perhaps the most notable mention in its notes is the Assembly Kit, which is the final missing element in terms of mod support.
Warhammer 3’s patch 2.1 also allows the Warriors of Chaos faction to subjugate all human and elven races in their path. In addition, Archaon the Everchosen and Be’lakor can now confederate other Warriors of Chaos factions through a new settlement occupation option, receiving only their vassals and Legendary Lords.
Total War: Warhammer 3 Patch 2.1
Immortal Empires has received another endgame scenario, which triggers all available crises at the same time. While perhaps not the most imaginative addition, it sounds like a surefire way to plunge the whole map into chaos.
A few smaller, yet nevertheless awesome changes mentioned in Total War: Warhammer III’s patch notes come in the shape of all legendary lords receiving the Siege Attacker trait from the start, alongside alterations to the long victory conditions for Chaos monogod factions and short victory conditions for the four lords added in the Champions of Chaos DLC.
If you’ve had a tough time with stationary vortex spells while battling it out, you’ll be glad to know they have been rebalanced, giving you more time to react. They now have an increased windup duration and deal less damage when overcast.
Dwarfs have received a series of buffs, including a 10% increase to their spell resistance stat, bringing it up to 35%, slightly bulkier Hammerers whose weapons now have magical attacks, alongside a new effect for the Rune of Hearth and Home, which sees it restoring 5% vigor each second.
Warhammer III’s patch 2.1 also makes the wasteland climate suitable for Boris Ursus’ faction once more, reduces the Empire’s initial Imperial Authority penalties in Immortal Empires, and rebalances growth and development points for horde factions such as Nakai and the Vampire Coast.
