Publisher Iceberg Interactive and developer Stormling Games today announced that first-person adventure game Transient now has a release date.
Transient will be launching in October and, to celebrate the announcement, a new gameplay video was showcased as part of the Iceberg Ahead event.
Set in a distant, post-apocalyptic future in which the remnants of humanity live in an enclosed city named Domed City Providence, Transient follows hacker Randolph Carter as he “stumbles across the terrifying truth” which is very likely to have a negative effect on his sanity.

Here is Transient’s list of features, as detailed on its Steam page, which is where you can also follow and wishlist the game in the lead-up to its October release.
- H.P. Lovecraft meets Cyberpunk. Delve deep into an obscure dystopian world and hold firm to your consciousness while you explore enigmatic networks where change is permanent but reality is only temporary.

- Secrets and easter eggs
- A haunting and atmospheric soundtrack.
Part of the team behind Transient has also worked on Conarium, a first-person horror game that was also inspired by H.P. Lovecraft’s work.
