Tropico 6 is coming! The latest and potentially greatest (once out) Tropico release is slated to be better than its predecessors in every conceivable way, and the folks at Limbic Studios are working tirelessly to make this hope a reality.
One of the key pieces of the puzzle that is Tropico 6 will undoubtedly be the fact that, for the first time ever, the game will run on Unreal Engine 4, which just about guarantees that the game will not only behave well, but also look better than ever before.
Of the numerous interesting features that Tropico 6 promises to bring to the table, one of the most interesting ones will be the ability to steal wondrous buildings from other countries. Don't believe the metric system but still want to compare how tall the Statue of Liberty and the Eiffel Tower are? Well, guess what...
Tropico 6 is currently planned to release come January 2019, but if you can't wait that long, we've got confirmation that the game will also have a closed beta run via Steam this autumn, so as to provide die-hard fans with a bit of hands-on experience before the game is fully released.
Naturally, Kalypso Media, the publisher, wouldn't leave fans hanging with an announcement that doesn't have any additional media attached, and so we've got an incredibly pretty gameplay trailer to share, which will demonstrate some of the key features coming with Tropico 6.
