Did you always think that Two Point Hospital was missing a headcrab or ten? Developer Two Point Studios thinks so too and is adding them to its hospital management sim as part of the game’s upcoming Open Surgery Free Weekend.
Two Point Hospital will benefit from a free weekend event on Steam, running from March 14 until March 18. Not only will anyone be able to play the game during this time, but they’ll also be able to try their hand at curing Headcrabbedness, as Half Life 2’s pesky creatures seem to have fallen in love with the heads of Two Point County’s inhabitants.
To celebrate the Open Surgery Free Weekend event, Two Point Hospital will also receive a couple of new in-game goodies. Players will be able to decorate rooms with items themed around several of the publisher’s IPs.
From a statue resembling Endless Space’s Horatio, to a Total War: Three Kingdoms-themed bench and a rug that looks like a miniature football pitch, they’re new style options that fans of those franchises, who fancy themselves hospital managers in Two Point Hospital, are sure to appreciate.
Shortly after the Open Surgery Free Weekend event ends, Two Point Hospital’s second DLC, Pebberley Island, will launch, adding three new hospitals, new illnesses and its fair share of tropical-themed items. Two Point Hospital will also be discounted by 33% as part of a sale involving several Sega games which ends on March 21, at 5PM GMT.
