Building treatment rooms in Two Point Hospitals is only one part of healing your patients. The other involves hiring staff to work in them and training it to provide better and better treatment for your patients.
While firing and hiring staff as more skilled people appear on the hiring list is one way to approach things, training existing hires is a more organic choice and one that can also help your finances in the long run. Here’s all you need to know about how to train staff in Two Point Hospital
Two Point Hospital Staff Training
In order to train staff in Two Point Hospital, you’ll first need to build one or more training rooms in your hospital. If you don’t have access to training rooms yet, chances are you haven’t progressed until the third mission that takes place in Mitton.
The training room requires a minimum size of 3x3 and costs $6500 to build. Before we can get into how to train staff in Two Point Hospital, it’s worth keeping in mind that the more Trainee Desks you have in your training room, the more staff you can train during one session.
After you’ve placed trainee desks and the other necessary items in your training room, clicking on the lectern will bring up a menu. Here you can see staff with empty slots or those ready to be promoted.
You can select a discipline, a trainer, alongside the individual staff members you want to train, and kick off the session. If you’re bringing in a trainer from outside, they’ll cost you $10000 + a fixed fee per trainee.
Alternatively, experienced members of your staff can train others for free, provided you can take the hit of them being away from their work rooms. That’s because all staff undergoing training will put every other task on hold until they’re done.
If you’re worried about having to constantly screen your staff for when they need training, you needn’t worry. You’ll spot the newly hired staff members with free slots right away when hiring them while members ready for promotion will let you know about the fact through an in-game notification.
