As a horrible goose, but one with an eye for fashion, you want to get this groundskeeper to wear his nice sun hat instead of his horrible brown hat. There are plenty of tasks on your to-do list when you get to the garden, but by far the toughest is "make the groundskeeper wear his sun hat". All the others are fairly straightforward, or you'll do by accident.
In case you didn't notice, the sun hat is at the back of the garden - hanging on the shed door. It's a little too high to grab, for starters. It is possible to pull the box to the shed door, flap-jump on to the box, and grab the sun hat - but you don't need to bother with that. All you need to complete this puzzle is patience, and an exit strategy.
The goal isn't to get the sun hat - it's to get the groundskeeper's hat off his head. First, make note of the hole in the hedge on the left - this makes a perfect exit that the groundskeeper can't follow you through. When you steal his hat, this is where you need to go. But how do you get his hat?
Here's where the patience comes in, and the hard part - do not mess with the groundskeeper for a little while! Just wait for him to go through his routine, and eventually he'll bend down to do some gardening. Sometimes, if you're lucky, he'll simply stop and hold his hat by his side. Creep up to him and then quickly grab the hat off his head or from his hand, retreat through the hole, and dump the hat in the lake!
The groundskeeper should then go and grab the sun hat from the shed and put it on. Congratulations, you've completed this puzzle!
