Following a succesful closed beta period that saw large amounts of interest from players, the full release of Valorant, Riot Games’ free-to-play first-person shooter, is almost upon us.
In anticipation, the developer has revealed the Valorant release times across multiple regions, to help players preparing to hop in just as the game releases.
Valorant Release Times
Valorant is set to launch on Tuesday, June 2, its first Episode being named, appropriately, Ignition.
The Valorant release times were revealed in a tweet sent out at 12 PM BST/4AM PST and are split into three brackets that bundle up different regions, as follows:
- In 12 hours from tweet - Korea, Japan, and most of Asia-Pacific (roughly around 8 AM KST)
- In 18 hours from tweet - Europe, Turkey, MENA, Russia, and CIS countries (roughly around 8 AM BST)
- In 25 hours from tweet - North America, Latin America, and South America (roughly around 5 AM PT)
Valorant’s full launch will also introduce its first new Agent since the Closed Beta – Reyna.
In case you’re just learning about Riot’s latest project, Valorant is a 5v5 competitive, free-to-play first-person shooter that channels CS:GO and Overwatch.
In essence, it blends the decision-making process of purchasing guns at the start of each round with tight skill-based gunplay and a varied cast of characters that bring different abilities to the mix.
