Warframe is one of those games where certain items are available only via special, once-or-twice-a-year events, and when these events finally do drop, it's pretty damn exciting.
The upcoming return of the Acolytes is one such event, with its high-profile mini-boss enemies who feature special spawning mechanics and certain meta mods that are not only very useful, but also pretty expensive if you know how to flip them.
There is no information on when, exactly, will the Acolyte event be going live, but previous iterations have usually lasted for about a week or so, so Monday/Tuesday seems like a fair bet at the time. If you've never had the chance ot play an Acolyte event or simply aren't familiar with the mechanics of it, fret not.
There are five Acolytes all in all (with Misery having been killed off during the first Acolyte event), each with a varied set of special mods that drop upon fighting them off. They will be popping up one or two at a time across the map, and players will have to put their heads together to figure out where they are.
Once an Acolyte is found, all players will receive a ping, and it will have to be defeated a set number of times before it moves on. Bosses' health bars are global, and once they've been emptied out, they will no longer spawn. Expect a short guide from us on what mods to look for as soon as the event is live!
