Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector will see Blood Angels and Tyranid blood stain the surface of Baal Secundus in less than two months. One of the year’s most anticipated turn-based strategy games, publisher Slitherine has shown a fair bit of the title so far.
But what you might not have seen is how Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector plays on maximum difficulty, which is precisely what we cover in our latest timelapse video.
You can watch 16-minutes’ worth of gameplay, either below or on our YouTube channel, in which we guide our Blood Angels army to the best of our ability against an onslaught of Tyranid forces, even dealing with a fearsome and fairly massive Tyrannofex. Since this is the maximum difficulty, our Blood Angels also take a beating, but war tends to be like that.
The game also features a handful of Primaris Space Marine units, which we’ve not seen a whole lot of in 40K video game adaptations up to this point.
Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector is set to launch on July 15 and is headed to the PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Earlier this month, publisher Slitherine has also announced that it is developing Stargate: Timesplitters, a strategy game based on the popular TV show.
