Warhammer 40,000: Darktide’s pre-order beta marks the final chance to try out Fatshark’s upcoming first-person action game prior to its release. If you count among those who can’t wait to join the fight against the Ruinous Powers, you may be wondering about its start dates and times alongside when it might end.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide’s now-revealed pre-order beta start date gives players who jump in almost two weeks’ worth of extra playtime and another opportunity to provide feedback prior to launch.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Pre-Order Beta
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide’s pre-order beta has locked down its start date to November 17. Its release times are as follows: 10 AM PST/6 PM GMT/7 PM CET. Its end date is slated to occur on November 29, before the game officially launches.
- Warhammer 40,000: Darktide pre-order beta start date: November 17 at 10 AM PST/6 PM GMT/7 PM CET
- Warhammer 40,000: Darktide pre-order beta end date: November 29 at 5 AM PST/1 PM GMT/2 PM CET
Anyone who has pre-ordered the game or pre-orders it will get the chance to hop in and slaughter agents of Chaos, according to the developer, who notes that the data obtained from this beta “will also be critical to helping us fine-tune the game before launch on November 30th.”.
It’s currently unclear if progress will carry over to the game’s full version, although the developer knows there’s a demand for this and is looking into it.
“We have nothing committed right now, but we do understand how important it is, and we’ll be sure to update you the moment we have more to share, prior to the Pre-Order Beta going live,” reads a Steam FAQ article. “The reasons for this are of a technical nature, and we have a lot to consider on that front before we can make such a commitment.”
In a follow-up post about Warhammer 40,000: Darktide’s pre-order beta, the developer noted that its “goal is to ensure all progression will carry over from the moment you start playing through full release,” but still can’t “fully guarantee [it will happen] at this moment.”
On November 25, Fatshark confirmed that pre-order beta progression would, indeed, carry over to the game’s full version.
The post above also details a series of implemented improvements alongside the content rollout we can expect throughout this period and going into launch.
