Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader’s Eurac V lab puzzle solution can prove elusive. Aside from having to suddenly decipher how to use a strange piece of lab equipment after being thrust into a series of chaotic battles, adding in the wrong combination of items can render you unable to complete it.
If your patience is running thin, and you’d much rather focus on pushing back the forces of Chaos, read on below, where we clear up how to complete Rogue Trader’s Eurac V Lab Puzzle alongside the solutions we’ve discovered.
Rogue Trader Eurac V Lab Puzzle Solution Guide
Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader’s Eurac V Lab Puzzle waits in the northern part of the level, inside a room you’ll reach while tracking down the Control Rod during the main quest.
As you explore, you’ll end up in a larger hall where you’ll face off against multiple foes. There, you’ll notice a big central door. Opening it involves making a slight detour via a side path to the right and interacting with a console in its northernmost room.
On your way, it’s wise to check every nook and cranny, looting everything you can find on the way. Doing so, you’ll inevitably pick up several special items that have no description.
Although it looks like they might serve no purpose, completing Rogue Trader’s Eurac V lab puzzle actually requires finding these Tissue Flasks, Reagent Flasks, and other such items.
Once you’ve opened the big door, head forward, then make a right. You’ll notice several button prompts, one of which allows you to remake the Control Rod. A simple click will get this done, as it is not part of the puzzle.
On the southern side of the lab, you’ll notice a strange device with four button prompts. Each one fits a different type of item from those you’ve picked up earlier.
The Reagent Flask slot is an outlier, as it requires you to first place specific items into the Transducer found on the opposite side of the room.
Only certain items fit inside the Transducer, so there’s no risk of inseting the wrong ones by mistake, and completing the process yields new materials that you can place into the Reagent Flask slot.
Processing the Meteorite Chunk grants Meteorite Dust. Doing the same with Adamantine grands Adamantium Dust, while placing the Psy Crystal inside the Transducer yields Crystal Dust.
While you’re free to experiment with item combinations, adding the “wrong” types of items to the four slots of the other device seems to yields no reward.
During our attempts, it also destroyed the device, rendering it permanently unusable, so it’s a good idea to save before you set free your inner scientist.
We have so far found two item combinations that are valid solutions for completing Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader’s Eurac V lab puzzle.
Rogue Trader Eurac V Lab Puzzle Solution 1
- Tissue Flask: Flesh Sample
- Data-Crypt Connector: Unidentified Acid
- Catalyst Flask: Data-Crypt K-04-OH
- Reagent Flask: Adamantine Dust
- REWARD: Elixir of Warp Neutrality x6
Rogue Trader Eurac V Lab Puzzle Solution 2
- Tissue Flask: Mutated Flesh Sample
- Data-Crypt Connector: Data-Crypt H-41-OK
- Catalyst Flask: Biogel
- Reagent Flask: Crystal Dust
- REWARD: Adaptive Antidot x6
They reward consumable items that can come in handy when dealing with opponents who deal warp or toxic damage, at the cost of Toughness or Fellowship and the inability to deal Warp Damage yourself.
While we did pick up a third set of items, placing them inside the device destroys it. It’s unclear whether they serve a different purpose or if other combinations have eluded us so far. It’s also possible that they were placed by agents of Chaos looking to throw us off.
That covers what you need to know about how to complete Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader’s Eurac V lab puzzle and its available solutions.
