Warhammer Underworlds: Online is free to keep for a whole week, publisher and developer Steel Sky Productions announced today, during the Warhammer Skulls Showcase. Players who have yet to try out its dice-and-cards strategy combat can now pick up the base game on Steam at no cost.
In addition, Warhammer Underworlds: Online’s newest premium DLC, Garrek’s Reavers, is also now out, introducing a new playable warband. Existing DLC will also be discounted.
Garrek’s Reavers are described, in an emailed press release, as “frenzied cannibals, mortals whose dark excesses have drawn them ever further into the thrall of the Blood God.” If you think the skull throne could use some additional skulls, they might be right up your alley.
Warhammer Underworlds: Online’s base version comes with six playable warbands, whose decks give players a variety of ways to approach its turn-based tactical battles.
Set in the Mirrored City of Shadespire, it was one of the first titles to bring the Age of Sigmar setting to PC. You can learn more about it and pick it up for free, on Steam.
