Exploring Wasteland 3’s version of post-apocalyptic Colorado is rewarding because of many things, including locations like the Abandoned Oil Well.
Wasteland 3’s Abandoned Oil Well location is quite different from the game’s more lived-in spots, adding a dose of strangeness to inXile’s latest RPG.
To find the Abandoned Oil Well location, you’ll want to head south of Union Station while keeping towards the right edge of the map. On your way down, you’ll encounter a Ghost Town that itself is well worth exploring, however, for the purpose of this guide, you’ll want to keep heading further south.
Wasteland 3 Abandoned Oil Well Location
You’ll know you’ve reached Wasteland 3’s Abandoned Oil Well location as soon as you spot a tesla coil surrounded by multiple Juvvies.
If you want to see for yourself what the spot has to offer, you’ll want to avoid reading further, as potential spoilers follow.
You’ll notice that the Juvvies around the Abandoned Oil Well aren’t the most talkative bunch. Instead, they’ll constantly keep their eyes on you as you move around the place.
There doesn’t seem to be much that can be done there, however, if you decide to attack one of the Juvvies, the tesla coil will start covering the area in a gas that knocks out your party.
Once you come to your senses, you’ll find your party to be the only ones at the Abandoned Oil Well location. Everyone seems to be well and, on top of that, you’ll be able to pick up the Purist Patty doll and Exoskeleton Helmet. Getting gassed could have gone way worse.
