Just Cause 4 is facing many of the same issues that Saints Row had faced back in the day! Namely, Just Cause is all about one-upping itself, and after Just Cause 3, it became kind of hard for developers to come up with even crazier features while staying true to the sort of game that Just Cause 4 needs to be.
Thankfully, there was a way, because Just Cause 4 features tornadoes, for one! Indeed, extreme (truly extreme) weather is one of the key components to the mad mix that this game is aiming to be, and the latest gameplay demonstration aptly showcases what sort of emergent gameplay this may foster.
Players can safely expect blizzards, tornadoes, immense thunderstorms, sandstorms, and - really - any sort of storm that comes to mind, all in the name of unparalleled, physics-driven destruction of the once-quaint region of Solis.
Since you can't really blow up a storm, Rico Rodriguez will have to arm himself with a selection of new gadgetry, which includes but is not limited to an upgraded grapple-hook, parachutes, an improved wingsuit, and more, with the majority of his tools fully customisable in this way or the other.
There's a whole lot more to Just Cause 4 than we can describe here, and thankfully, you can watch the entire gameplay demo just underneath this article. Just Cause 4 is currently slated for release on 4th of December, and try and check out how it stacks against the ideas we had for the game before its official announcement!
