We Were Here Together is coming out later today, and the matter of game length is sure to be brought up when that happens. Whereas Total Mayhem Games’ previous releases in this series, We Were Here and We Were Here Too had just a few hours of playtime, Together promises more content right off the bat.
While they’ve already chimed in on the matter of how long is it, developers of We Were Here Together said that the longevity of the game will greatly depend on how well players communicate with one another, and how good they are at solving puzzles.
How long is We Were Here Together?
</hr>
According to Total Mayhem, “We Were Here Together has more environments, puzzles and story than We Were Here Too, so it should be a lot longer than a normal playthrough of the previous games.” This alone doesn’t tell us much, if we don’t know how long the previous games were.
Those who’ve had experience with We Were Here and We Were Here Too say that 3-4 hours of playtime sounds like the realistic average, though those who are particularly proficient at solving puzzles can shorten that down to 2-or-so hours. Whereas the previous games had puzzles that couldn’t be randomized, this meant that subsequent playthroughs turned out less challenging by default.
We’ll see how the developers tackle this later today. In the meantime, watch the latest trailer below.
