After several years in Early Access, Door Kickers 2: Task Force North has finally launched fully on Steam. In the game, players control a Spec Ops team in tactical combat against a terrorist network.
Naturally, this has left console players feeling a bit left out of the top-down tactical strategy action. Will KillHouse Games’ next step be a console port? Will Door Kickers 2 be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S?
Door Kickers 2 PS5 and Xbox Series X/S Release Date Details
While Door Kickers 2 is currently available on Steam for PC, it is unknown when or if it will be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
With a lot of time perfecting Door Kickers 2 in Early Access for PC, it likely wasn’t at the forefront of developer KillHouse Games’ plans to port the title to consoles.
But history is on the console players’ side. The spinoff Door Kickers: Action Squad made its way over to PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox back in 2019, so there’s a possibility Door Kickers 2 could make the jump to consoles as well.
