Blizzard has confirmed that World of Warcraft: Classic’s Season of Discovery Phase 7 is on its way. Although it didn’t commit to a set release date just yet, the developer revealed that we’ll face off against a familiar undead threat as we assault the floating necropolis of Naxxramas.
This, of course, follows the outlined plan to explore and alter all of vanilla WoW’s original phases. Staying true to the spirit of SoD, new additions have been confirmed, although not extensively detailed.

Aside from the raid that culminates in a fight against Kel’Thuzad, “new instanced content featuring the Scarlet Crusade” is also coming in WoW: SoD Phase 7.
Furthermore, the developer also hinted at “adventures in Deadwind Pass,” so perhaps there might be trouble brewing in or around Karazhan.
World of Warcraft: Classic’s Season of Discovery Phase 7 release date is currently slated to occur at some point in late winter, as per the window offered in the official roadmap.
Given how Phase 6 will keep us busy throughout at least November and December, there’s a good chance that we’ll visit Naxxramas at some point in early 2025.
More details about SoD’s Phase 7 and any potential additions not mentioned so far will be shared over the coming weeks.
While we wait, you may want to catch up with what’s in store for retail WoW when its next major update drops.
