World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Classic has been officially revealed during the franchise’s 30th anniversary direct showcase. Although developer Blizzard didn’t mention a set release date just yet, it has shared the first details regarding the content cadence we can expect alongside a trailer, which you’ll find embedded below.
WoW: MoP Classic sees us returning to the formerly shrouded continent to rediscover its “legendary class design, incredible raids and dungeons, stunning environments, and […] unforgettable soundtrack.”
World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Classic
Judging by how previous expansions unfolded, the content will likely be deployed across multiple phases, each one gradually introducing new raids, dungeons, features, and rewards.
According to the roadmap shared so far, World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria’s pre-patch is set to go live at some point during summer 2025, when the Pandaren race and Monk class become available. In addition, we’ll get to experience the events of Theramore’s Fall once again.
MoP Classic’s release date will then occur later in autumn 2025 with its initial campaign story, set of dungeons and raids, alongside “other updates.”
Blizzard didn’t delve into specifics upon revealing the expansion, which makes sense given how several months separate us from its release.
Nonetheless, as launch draws near, we should learn more about what is coming in each of its phases.
In the meantime, the remaining Cataclysm Classic content alongside Season of Discovery’s Phase 7 should be just enough to keep us busy adventuring throughout Azeroth as it once was.
