Blizzard has finally revealed the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic global release times, giving players eager to explore Northrend once more a better idea of when they can set foot on its icy shores.
WoW: WotLK Classic has locked down its release date to September 26/September 27, depending on your region, benefitting from a simultaneous launch across the globe.
Wrath of the Lich King Classic Release Times
As the image above shows, WotLK Classic’s release times will actually occur on September 26 in the Americas, a decision made by the developer so that the expansion’s launch in the region can “align with other regions.” Here’s when you’ll be able to start your journey to level 80.
- Americas - September 26 at 3 PM PDT
- Europe - September 27 at 12 AM CEST
- Taiwan - September 27 at 6 AM CST
- Australia and New Zealand - September 27 at 8 AM AEST
If you plan on leveling a Death Knight or any other class, there still is time to make use of the Joyous Journeys buff for increased experience gain before it goes away when the expansion launches.
While Death Knights have been roaming around Azeroth for a while now, Wrath of the Lich King’s release times is when we’ll be able to access not just the new continent of Northrend alongside its initial set of dungeons and raids, but also more talents and skills for our classes.
That is what you need to know about WoW: WotLK’s release times. With less than half a month until launch, Blizzard continues to work on addressing the queues and lag on the game’s mega servers.
