More specifically, you’ll need to hear the tales of one of each of the following unit types:
- Forgotten Peasant
- Forgotten Rifleman
- Forgotten Knight
- Forgotten Footman
To do this, head slightly southwest – an addon such as Questie should pinpoint the exact area – until you spot the hostile Forgotten soldiers. Use the murkweed elixir you obtained from the previous quest to turn them friendly.
After this step, all you need to do to complete World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King’s The Forgotten Tale quest is seek out one of each of the unit types mentioned above. They’re either roaming around or working in the area, so they should be fairly easy to find.
Interact with them, click the dialogue option, and you should be good to go once you’ve spoken to all four. Then, return to Orik Trueheart and complete the quest to earn a chunk of experience alongside reputation with the Valiance Expedition and Argent Crusade factions.
