Ubisoft’s open-world driving game The Crew will enter its closed beta stage on July 23, and the developers are now seeking applications from the public.
You’ll need to be registered on uPlay to access the beta, which you can sign up for here.
The usual cavetas regarding beta versions will apply, including potential performance issues; ”In this beta you may encounter bugs as well as missing features,” say Ubisoft. ”We need your feedback to help improve the game!”
The Crew lets you and your friends loose inside a huge recreation of the United States, allowing you to pretty much drive about doing whatever you want. There’s challenges, car customisation, street races and all that good stuff, but it’s all wrapped up in the form of an MMO. Luckily you won’t have to slowly level up your car by running over murlocs.
It’s currently primed to hit PC and current-gen consoles on November 11.
