Just Cause 3 launched last night in the early hours of the morning and early reports suggest that the PC version is plagued with visual problems.
Players are reporting glitches in the textures, disappearing water effects and problematic frame rates. The Reddit subsection and the Steam forums are filled with people sending in screenshots of the problems they’ve been experiencing.
Some users seem to be able to play without any issues, so we aren’t sure which configurations are causing the problems at the moment. GeForce has already released a graphics and performance guide, while AMD are said to be working with Avalanche on a driver update.
“There are some known issues that occur with the most recent official release AMD/ATi graphics card drivers. We’re working with AMD to fix the issue via an upcoming driver update” said a spokesperson for Avalanche.
