It’s no secret, Just Cause 3 is heavily centered around blowing things up. Planes, automobiles, buildings, etc. - It all has to explode. Too bad the game is blowing up with bugs as well. Avalanche Studios and Square Enix know full well about the myriad of unfortunate issues affecting their game and they’re asking players to have some patience as they work towards squashing these bugs.
One might have expected there would be some slight issues when Avalanche pushed out a patch on day one, but players, especially those using AMD graphics processors, are experiencing a myriad of problems. It’s hard to judge what exactly is the cause because some players aren’t having any trouble at all.
Nonetheless, Avalanche has offered apologies and promises that the game will be fixed and stabilized into the fun and action-packed sandbox adventure it’s supposed to be. Steam Community Manager Petra Opelova has been active in offering tips on how to expedite this process. “We are fully committed to making Just Cause 3 as awesome as possible,” says Petra. “We already know loads of people are having a blast with the game but we’ll do all we can to make sure everyone is laughing and smiling as they play.”
Players are advised to report their bugs and glitches on the Steam Just Cause 3 Community forums and on Square Enix’s Support Center in order for the Just Cause 3 team to gain all the information they need to recreate the bugs and design fixes for the next patch.
Meanwhile, the game is out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC now. Our review is forthcoming, so stay tuned!
