Just Cause 3 is due to be released in two weeks on 1 December 2015, and developer Avalanche has been pulling out all the stops, such as using the latest tech to make explosions more impressive and buildings more destructible.
Now the studio is pushing the tech envelop even further as the graphic options on the PC version now include a 4K option, so players can enjoy an even sharper resolution, and also give them a reason to pick up one of the state-of-the-art 4K PC monitors that have hit the shelves in recent months.
”Avalanche Studios have been busy squeezing every last drop of power out of their proprietary engine for the upcoming release of Just Cause 3 on December 1st. The game can be seen firing on all cylinders, with all settings turned to overkill in this video running at a 4K resolution!” Avalanche bragged in their press release.
Naturally, to fully enjoy the video, it helps to have a 4K television or monitor while playing it. Even without the 4K resolution, the game still looks quite impressive.
