Wargaming has announced a new community campaign for its naval combat game World of Warships. In the new campaign, players try to hit achievements to earn Peals, which can then be spent to rebuild the famed Japanese destroyer Kamikaze, complete with a unique camouflage. Players will also be able to unlock in-game rewards using Pearls.
To earn Pearls, captains must compete in special “Project R” challenges during missions. Factors that go into the player’s rewards include camouflage and other boosts. If the community reaches the milestone of 10 million, the Kamikaze will be completed and participants who collected 150+ Pearls will be rewarded with one of 2,000 Japanese destroyers.
“‘Project R’ is a great opportunity for us to engage with the vibrant World of Warships community and provide great content in a fun way,” stated associate publishing producer Jacek Pudlik. “We’re all looking forward to seeing just what the fans of the game are capable of who the really standout players will be.”
According to Wargaming, the Project R campaign will run for six weeks. Gamers who are interested in jumping in can check out the official World of Warships site [url=http://worldofwarships.eu[here[/url].
