Counter-Strike creator 'has seen Half-Life 3 artwork', also 'new Left 4 Dead'
Le Minh, former Valve developer and creator of Counter-Strike, has said he's seen concept artwork for the long-sought-after Half-Life 3, admitting it's "kind of public knowledge" Valve is working on it in secret. He "did see something" belonging to the Half-Life universe, and will "go out on a limb" to say it's Half-Life 3. Minh also saw the "new Left 4 Dead" which "looks great" .
Valve's "oldest and longest running fanbase" want Half-Life news, it's "frustrating"
A Steam Group calling themselves 'A Call for Communication (Half-Life)' is now 10k members strong and they're campaigning for fans to be given more Half-Life info. It's been a "frustrating experience" getting nothing from Valve over the series' future, and while it's "greatly appreciated" the support current titles are getting, they want a word or two on Half-Life.
Lucas Molyneux's Valve plea explained
Peter Molyneux has explained how his son's video plea to Valve came about, saying his son Lucas "has this obsession" with making a video of his own. The studio boss was at home working, filming a promotion for Fable III when his son seized an opportunity. Lucas is "always talking about" Half-Life 3.
Rumour: Source Engine 2 at E3?
The arrival of Source Engine 2 is to be Valve's surprise at E3 2010 according to a source (the blabbermouth kind, not the engine tech kind). It's also "possible" that we'll catch a glimpse of Half-Life 3 running on it, but then again Unicorns maybe declared real just as 'possibly'.
