Company of Heroes 3 prides itself on launching with the most amount of content out of the three main titles in the series. Boasting two playable campaigns, four factions belonging to both the Axis and Allies, as well as a decent supply of skirmish maps, you may be wondering about its length and how long it takes to beat the game.
Having played through Company of Heroes 3 for our review, it’s clear enough that developer Relic Entertainment delivered on its promise. Although the exact length varies depending on whether you’re aiming just to play single-player or multiplayer, alongside which difficulties you prefer, you can expect to be busy for quite a bit of time battling over North Africa and Italy.
Company of Heroes 3 Length
The answer to the question of how long it took us to beat Company of Heroes 3 is somewhere between 35 and 38 hours.
This includes playing through both the North African Operation and the Italian dynamic campaign on the Tough difficulty, which is the second of four available picks, as well as completing multiple skirmish matches against the AI on the game’s first two difficulties.
The bulk of our time was spent playing the dynamic campaign, with the North African Operation amounting to (a very rough estimate of) 7 or 8 hours.
- Company of Heroes 3 length: 35-38 hours (completing both campaigns and playing several skirmish matches)
Naturally, the time spent can also vary depending on how carefully you approach each mission and how many optional objectives you complete.
In addition, there are quite a few more hours to squeeze out of skirmish if you plan on mastering all four playable factions, especially given how each one has three available Battlegroups that alter its playstyle.
Then there’s the multiplayer mode that will arguably be the main draw and potential long-term commitment for a part of the strategy game’s community.
Whichever way you approach things, there’s plenty of game here and Company of Heroes 3’s length doesn’t disappoint.
