Hogwarts Legacy is full of challenges to overcome as you hone your magical skills and uncover the mystery at the core of the story. Whether you’re busy with classes or fighting off evil creatures, you might be wondering if cheats or console commands are available in the wizard game.
It’s tempting to think about pressing a key or inputting a command to give yourself extra galleons to purchase all the ingredients or gear. Sadly, much like the majority of modern games, Hogwarts Legacy doesn’t seem to have launched with any official support for cheats or console commands.

Aside from those looking to add multiplayer or VR support in the future, a number of more practical mods are available right now, allowing you to cheat a bit on your path to becoming a powerful wizard or witch.
If you frequently find yourself short on galleons, this mod is basically a save file that comes with 1 billion of the shiny coins. You, unfortunately, have to give up your character, but can then buy lots of things without worrying about your finances.
Lacking lethality? Another Hogwarts Legacy cheat mod vastly decreases the cooldown of the Avada Kedavra spell, increasing the rate at which you can turn enemies into cadavers.
The Alohomora mod is perfect for collectors who want to have lots of things unlocked but would rather skip the lengthy process getting them involves, while yet another Hogwarts Legacy cheat mod makes the arithmancy puzzles easier to solve by adding numbers to their symbols.
As is the case with all mods, the game’s post-launch patches can end up breaking them and creators might take a while to deliver updates. It’s also possible that we’ll see more popping up in the weeks and months following the game’s release, which should make things even more interesting.
