Hogwarts Legacy’s Room of Requirement location isn’t accessible from the start of the game. You’ll first need complete several main quests that introduce you to different aspects of what it means to be a student of magic.
Once you’ve attended several classes and learned how to fly using a broom, Professor Weasley sends you an owl mail leading to the main quest that bears the name of the fabled room.
This means that you can neither miss nor avoid discovering Hogwarts Legacy’s Room of Requirement location. The quest during which it’s introduced is also rather straightforward, teaching you three new spells that you can use to place, delete, or alter the look of items.
The room itself is found in the Astronomy Wing. It has its own dedicated Floo Flame used for fast travel, which is actually listed under the Secret Rooms section on your map.
Once you unlock it, you can come and go as you please and prepare items to your heart’s content as long as you have the proper ingredients for them.
