Ghost Carcass is perhaps one of the most interesting items in the world of Wartales. Players can obtain these rare items by defeating Ghost Packs, which appear in odd, misty areas in the woods at night. While these are different from regular carcasses, there are some uses that can be beneficial to your team.
So, what can you do with the Ghost Carcass in Wartales? To answer that question, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know about this material.
What Can You Do with the Ghost Carcass in Wartales?
There are three things players can do with the Ghost Carcass in Wartales. The most apparent use of Ghost Carcass is to make jerky and white leather on the drying and tanning rack, respectively. Outside of that, this material can also be helpful to distract enemies if you’re low on health and would rather flee from a fight you can’t win.
Make a Jerky with Ghost Carcass
To craft jerky, players must first obtain a drying rack blueprint from the Highlands Trackers Camp in Tiltren. The next thing you need to do once you have the blueprint is to collect the materials needed to build the drying rack. Those materials are as follows:
- x2 Cloth
- x9 Wood
- x6 Rope
With all the materials collected, you can assign the Tinkerer in your group to build the meat drying rack in camp. The meat drying rack is one of the essential tools for survival, as you’ll be able to process more food for your team and feed the prisoners you want to recruit.
As for the final step, add the Ghost Carcasses you’ve collected to the drying rack, and wait until they are turned into jerky. Not only that this will provide food for your group, but it will also reduce the weight you need to carry.
Make a White Leather with Ghost Carcass
Another use for Ghost carcasses is to make white leather. White leather is an essential material in the game, as it allows you to make more advanced armor modifications.
To make white leather, you must have the tanning rack blueprint, which can be obtained by researching and upgrading Cannibalism or buying it from the Arthes Trackers Camp.
Once you have the blueprint in your hands, you need to upgrade your tanning rack to level 2 before you can process the Ghost Carcass to white leather. Similar to making jerky, have your Tinkerer build the rack in camp and add the Ghost Carcass to it to create white leather.
Use as a Distraction
Lastly, the ghost carcass can also be used to create distractions for other enemies. By dropping the ghost carcass in front of your enemies, you can draw their attention away from you and give yourself an opening to flee. This is especially useful when you’re outnumbered or don’t feel like facing your foes head-on.
