Here is a mod set towards making the inventory menu's character preview a far more visually appealing and useful interface. This mod removes the weird green outline from the character preview and adjusts the lighting so you can actually see every bit of what they look like. All-in-all, it's a much better looking setup that will give you a better idea of how exactly how your character will look out in the world.
