While Blizz may not have officially spilled the beans on what exactly to expect when their new and improved Battle.net launches, DiabloIII.net did some snooping.
They managed to put together a list of goodies like automated tournaments, clan support, avatars, achievements, in-game voice chat, greater security and ”eSport Support”.
Well that all sounds a rather big evolutionary step for the aging Battle.net but with Diablo III and StarCraft II on their way, eventually, something new and shinier is needed.
”It’s a given that all current features for Battle.net will be included - and improved! Blizzard has said they have learned a lot from WoW on infrastructure, and features from WoW will definitely also be seen,” writes Diii.net.
