Red Faction 3 has long been rumoured but now, finally, CEO Brian Farrell during THQ’s latest investor conference has unveiled its existence. While referred to as “Red Faction III” this may only be a working title as no additional information has been wrestled from THQ just yet, but with more promised soon in the coming weeks.
Using next-gen consoles and the latest PCs, Farrell firmly believes the franchise can be bigger and better than ever with “more exciting destruction technology”.
There’s no confirmed release date but it is planned for THQ’s 2009 fiscal year (April 2008 - March 2009).
Red Faction 3 is set to be released on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
