Activision gleefully confirmed NPD’s findings that Guitar Hero is franchise gold this year in the USA, its shifted copies like delicious hotcakes at fat camp.
Guitar Hero: World Tour seems to have the Midas touch on Nintendo DS Stateside as well; it’s clawed its way into the best-selling title position for September quarter.
”For the September quarter, Guitar Hero: On Tour was the #1 best-selling title overall in North America for the Nintendo DS, according to The NPD Group,” reads the September Quarter results.
