Bethesda’s previous big RPG outing was Oblivion which saw its own DLC, so many have speculated that the highly anticipated return of post-apoco Fallout would surely get a look-in.
While not a solemn pledge, Bethesda’s Pete Hines says ”certainly it’s a given that we’ll look into it.”
The ambitious developer has always been made fun of ever since they released Horse Armour DLC for Oblivion, it’s about as exciting as it sounds.
”Given how successful it was for us on Oblivion, certainly it’s a given that we’ll look into it and what we’d like to do,” said Hines during a demo of Fallout 3 in London.
”But I can’t tell you when, I can’t tell you what it would be, or what it would look like. Will it be bigger stuff like Knights of the Nine or smaller stuff? We’ve no idea. We’ll let folks know once we get down the road.”
Fallout 3 is a big deal for the gaming RPG community with the previous projects offering a crazy amount of freedom in their wasteland travels. The bar of expectation is high indeed so let’s hope Bethesda can put even their acclaimed Oblivion to shame.
