The MK team and those dastardly villains from the DC universe will be getting their fatality fix as eye watering gouges make a comeback.
Goody-two-shoe heroes with a conscious though won’t kill but just ‘brutalise’ their opponents. Boo! No not the hand cuffs - just finish him!
In an interview between Midway’s Ed Boon and GameSpot we get the deliciously violent confirmation that those fatality moves get some front row seats. What better way than to show your disdain for an opponent than by beating him with his own spinal cord?
GameSpot: Have you made any more headway on the fatality versus finishing moves?
Ed Boon: Yes we have. All of the MK characters and all of the DC villains will have fatalities. The DC heroes who don’t kill that often will have brutalities that will function just like fatalities but don’t actually kill the opponent.
Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe is being released on Xbox360 and PS3 later this year.
