Tuna Technologies have decided the world needs a claymation based side-scrolling platform brawler with a redneck, alien-hating protagonist to lead the charge.
It’s about dang time! The British developer is due to release the game next year and has Cletus blasting his way through 12 levels, mini-games and even some co-op rednecking.
The entire game world is clay animation based and from the crazy mind of one Anthony Flack. Aliens, not illegal immigrants, have staged an invasion of Cletus’ land and he’s none too happy about it.
”Cletus Clay is a rootin’, tootin’ platform brawler created and animated entirely in clay,” explains the dev blog.
Some pitch forking and sheep rescuing later you’ll even manage to hijack flying saucers to deliver Southern style justice. The game will come with a decent arsenal of weaponry too.
