3D Realms have allowed Duke Nukem Forever to live up to its name by taking a very long time on development, years to be exact. But they’ve revealed to CVG that the game is currently being polished which might suggest that development is heading for completion? Then again, it is Duke Nukem forever so don’t get your hopes up.
DNF art director Tramell Isaac (don’t think Heroes!), told CVG: “Well, we’re doing a lot of polishing of set pieces, environments, and characters”.
Isacc also commented that the recent trailer was a huge moral booster for the development team, confirming that what people saw was ingame footage.
“The majority of the feedback was positive, which was great. The more critical responses were helpful as well because we have time to make adjustments”, he said about the trailer.
We now know that Duke Nukem Forever will also be set in Las Vegas during the near-future.
