San Francisco-based developer Shaba Games could be closing down, according to reports from Kotaku. The team recently worked on Spider-man: Web of Shadows and are said to have been shut down by parent company Activision today.
This news comes after cuts from 7-studios, which was revealed yesterday. The site claims that 30 employees were laid off at Shaba Games, with a poor performance from Guitar Hero 5 being the reason.
We’ve contacted Activision for comment, but it isn’t likely that they’ll have anything to say about this.
