Previously Mercenaries co-op play was only possible offline through system link for the Xbox 360 but now gamers can play it over Xbox Live too.
There’s no word if a patch has been submitted for the PS3 version yet. The high scoring Mercenaries mode is unlocked once the Resident Evil 5 campaign is completed.
”A title update is already available for RE5 which adds online co-op play for Mercenaries Mode on Xbox 360,” reports IGN.
This update has arrived before the game has officially released, which is this week on March 13th for Xbox 360 and PS3. Planning on some online co-op high-score attack action? Capcom hopes you are.
