Jolt has confirmed that the classic PC adventure series, Legend of Zork, won’t be arriving in its web-based form as an MMO.
Dylan Collins has said it’s the kind of game that ”sneaks into your soul” before you’ve realised and ”steals about 20mins of your time each day.” There you have it, prepare to be violated.
”…we’ve had some fairly massive speculation about the MMO nature of this game. I just want to be really clear that this is a casual adventure game,” blogged the developers.
”We hope to ensnare your synapses for about 30 mins a day and give you a chuckle.”
Are you looking for some web-based Zork action? Earlier this year when it was announced the press release revealed it to be ”designed to provide gamers with a casual MMO game they can play on their laptop, desktop or Apple iPhone.” It seems that was a stinky fib now then.
