The NFL rulebook has been edited with crayon as EA Tiburon, the team behind Madden NFL 10, got bored with all those pitch regulations and so bring fans arcade mayhem.
In this 5-a-side and visually distinctive NFL game, players don’t have field goals or even penalties to consider. Game Changers have also been added, which mess with opponents.
”When you look around the office and see your whole team playing and having tons of fun with it, you know the game hit the right mark,” said EA’s Nathan Stewart, reports IncGamers.
”We have diehard Madden fans who have worked on the franchise for a decade, and more casual gamers who are all playing together and enjoying it. If our productivity the past few weeks is any indication, we’ve created a game that everyone will love.”
Madden NFL Arcade will be hitting XBLA and PSN in December. It includes 32 NFL teams and players must cross 60 yards and be the first to amass 30 points in order to win.
That’s if a Game Changer doesn’t get you first, of which there are 13 unique ones with can ”break the game wide open on a single play.” Madden NFL Arcade will go for 1200 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live Arcade and $14.99 on PlayStation Network this December.
