Right now developer Relic has no intention of stopping their update crusade for Dawn of War II, promising the next one will add some ”awesome new features.”
Included also will be ”many bug fixes, a balance update, new maps” and likely anything else they can think of. They’re already ”hard at work” on it, having just released patch 1.3.2.
The studio has admitted previously that they’re support for Dawn of War ”wasn’t up to snuff,” but that’s not going to repeat itself with the much easier to patch sequel.
Here’s the 1.3.2 update change log, which releases today:
■ Adjusted the Orbital Bombardment ability to increase damage. Outer radius increased to 150 from 100.
■ Fixed an issue in the campaign where one point was getting auto-allocated at level-up if the player resumed an old campaign.
■ Made changes to the Mekboy mines. The mines now do drastically less damage and suppress infantry.
■ Adjusted lighting on 6P Tiber Outpost.
■ Fixed an issue where Guardian squads would switch to melee stance if upgraded with a Warlock, then with Battle Equipment.
■ Regenerated AI tuning data.
