Adventurine have announced the game will be available to grab by downloading it next week for the sum of EUR 42, with pre-orders starting soon.
The MMO launch is for Europe only but US gamers are welcome. Darkfall doesn’t have character levels and allows players to completely loot others if they die - very old skool.
Now for the real sting. Darkfall Online’s subscription rate is EUR 11.77 as a standard with 10 or 15 per cent rate cuts depending on what package you select.
The Greek developers better hope enough people like the idea of total PVP with no level but skilled-based gameplay with the chance to rob others blind. US gamers who buy the game will be given free character transfers once the US servers go live.
If you want a copy you’d best stay vigilant as Adventurine are keeping them to a limited number to cope with the impending server demand.
Is Darkfall Online your kind of thing, gamer? Is no-holds-barred looting going too far for an MMO?
