Next week ‘Beneath the Ashes’ will be releasing on the 24th as the first episode DLC for Tomb Raider Underworld after suffering a series of delays.
Eidos’ Jason Walker confirms it has ”passed all testing” and won’t be delaying any more. The episode will weigh at 948MB with a patch due around the same time the DLC releases.
”Beneath the Ashes has passed all testing at Microsoft and has been given a confirmed release date of the 24th February 2009,” posted Walker.
In a later post he also lists the upcoming title update that will address a number of bugs found in the original game. The second episode, Lara’s Shadow, is due out on March 10th and will be 1.07GB in size.
