Paying subscribers suffered a delayed launch to their new online game but can now enjoy the work of indie Greek developers Adventurine.
The unique PVP MMO has been in the works for over seven years and is now finally live. The launch crippled the game and the forums as it struggled to cope with huge demand.
The dev team already anticipated a huge swarm of interest and so limited the number of copies that would be initially available. This release strategy however proved useless for their initial launch but should let them adjust easier now it’s up and running.
The pre-order process for the game was left almost in complete shambles as Adventurine’s systems collapsed under the weight. In some extreme cases credit cards were charged multiple times while others remained unprocessed.
Why the MMO is so unique is that it allows players to completely loot other players when defeated in the game world. Click here to visit the official Darkfall website.
