The next instalment to Ghost Recon looks to be landing sometime in the first quarter of 2010, Ubi revealed it during its fiscal chatter.
There’s nothing more on the game though its current title ‘Ghost Recon 4’ is likely a placeholder. For Clancy fans it’s not all gloom as the new Splinter Cell: Conviction releases this year.
”In 2008-09, we… continued to invest heavily in Ubisoft’s future potential, hiring some 1,300 talents for our studios with a view to driving the Company’s expansion, further strengthening our franchises and preparing for the next generation of handheld as well as home consoles,” said Ubisoft.
The last game in the Ghost Recon franchise was 2007’s Advanced Warfighter 2. Since then the Tom Clancy universe has expanded with EndWar and H.A.W.X.
