While not official, Sega seems to have zero plans for releasing Yakuza 3 in North America and possibly Europe too given low sales numbers of the first two.
In the US the second game only scrapped in around 40,000 copies sold on the PlayStation 2, with the original performing about the same. Could PAL territories have a better chance?
”Sega fans and Yakuza fans will be saddened to know that Sega won’t be bringing Yakuza 3 stateside. The reason as to why they won’t be bringing the game over is simple: it won’t sell, he told me,” reports the Examiner.
