Realtime Worlds founder Dave Jones was rumoured to have landed a post at Epic Games, but the former boss of the now bankrupt studio refutes it.
Jones claims to have ”no idea” where the rumour started and states clearly he’s ”still in Dundee”, Scotland. Epic is said to be interested in APB.
”I’m still in Dundee and not in any way joining Epic,” said Dave Jones. ”No idea where that rumour came from.” The commenter’s identity was later verified.” It was the UK’s Herald newspaper that started the rumblings of Jones now at Epic.
The MMO APB which cost over $100m to make has collapsed along with Realtime Worlds, developer of the original Xbox 360 hit Crackdown.
